Our Pet Care Services
Our Mission is to
provide a safe, healthy and loving
environment for dogs and cats that live in
or visit the beautiful Truckee - Tahoe
community. Our guests
will be treated to an environment as close
to homelike as possible with fresh air,
great food and warm friendship.
Safety…
From playgroup design to cleaning
protocols to extensive staff training,
every detail boils down to the goal of
safety for your cherished pet.
We provide continuing education for all staff in
dog training, behavior, and health concerns.
  
Friendship...
With you, with your pets. Building relationships with you
and your pet is important to us. The more your dog
stays with us, the more he or she will look forward to
coming back!
For
those that don’t play with others, they will quickly find
staff favorites that act as their surrogate parents while
staying with us.
Comfort...
Raised soft beds. Soft synthetic grass
that is easy on the joints. Misting
systems to keep the ground cool when the weather
is hot. Climate control for every room.
Some rooms have overstuffed chairs to snuggle up
in. Fresh water available 24/7. For social
dogs, maybe comfort means being able to see
their playmates, while for the less social,
maybe it’s being tucked away in a more private
area of the facility. We think of it all.
Convenience... Located in the heart of
downtown Truckee just one mile from Interstate
80, Truckee-Tahoe Pet Lodge is a convenient stop
on your way to your favorite Lake Tahoe vacation
spot. Families visiting Lake Tahoe can check
their pet out for the day during our office
hours, and return him for the night.
To
simplify your packing, we provide everything
from beds to toys to bowls. We can even call
your vet to confirm your vaccination records so
you have one less thing to worry about.
Located in downtown Truckee with easy access to both
Northstar and Squaw Valley Ski Resorts
half a mile
from I-80.
